General Requirements For INEC Adhoc Recruitment

  • Applicants must not be a political party member.
  • Applicants must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party.
  • Applicants must reside in the STATE selected.

Polling Officer and Assistant Polling Officer:

  • Must be Nigerian.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Need O’Level certificate (like WASSCE or NECO).
  • Should read and write in English.

Supervisory Presiding Officer, Collation Officer, and Returning Officer:

  • Must be Nigerian.
  • A serving corps member (NYSC).
  • Need a first degree from a recognized university or HND from a recognized polytechnic.
  • Not part of any political party.
  • Should know computers.
  • At least 18 years old.

Security Personnel:

  • Must be Nigerian.
  • Physically fit.
  • Might need past security or law enforcement work.
  • At least 18 years old.

Administrative Staff and Data Entry Clerk:

  • Must be Nigerian.
  • O’Level certificate (like WASSCE or NECO).
  • Might need basic computer skills.
  • At least 18 years old.

RAC Manager

Source Institution and Qualification:

  • The school / institution hosting the RAC or Super RAC – Head of school or/a Staff on GL 07 and above.

Registration Area Technician (RATECH)

Source Institution and Qualification:

  • INEC Staff – Suitable ICT staff (State & HQ) of the Commission not engaged in any other duties.
  • NYSC – Serving Corps members in the Commission (where available).
