Nigeria Police Training Centre – The Nigeria Police Service Commission has published the list of approved training centers and venue nationwide for its six (6) training course programme for all the shortlisted applicant.
The management of the Nigeria Police Service Commission hereby inform the general public that the list of approved centre for mandatory six (6) month police training course for new recruit has published online.
The Nigeria Police Force training will take place at designated locations across the federation. All successful candidates are to appear at their various training venues on time. Failure to report at the training center within the stipulated time means the candidate has declined the offer.
The training exercise will be held in selected states. All candidates are expected to appear at the venue a day before the training date.

The candidates are expected to confirm their status by logging into https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to confirm further details on the training exercise.

Specialist applicants are however to resume training two months after that of their General Duty counterparts. Information on date and venues for their own specialised training will be announced in due course.
The Police Service Commission wishes to appreciate the applicants for their patience and understanding while efforts were made to ensure that the exercise was inclusive and generally acceptable.
The Commission also states that it will continue to ensure that recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force is based on merit and respect for the Federal Character principles.
It enjoins the successful candidates to see their new status as a call to duty for the Nigerian nation stressing that the Commission will monitor their training programmes to ensure that they will come out prepared to join forces in fighting the security challenges facing our nation.
All candidates are to bring along the following items while reporting.
- Original copy and photocopies of Certificates/Credentials.
- Two pairs of white shorts, white canvass shoes and white socks.
- Two sets of yellow track suit.
- One white bed sheet, four white pillow cases, two blankets.
- One mosquito net.
- One set of cutlery.
- One cutlass.
- Two brooms.
- Two plastic buckets
- Toiletries.
- Eight passport size photograph.
- One dozen of 60 leaves notebooks
