The Government of Oyo State through the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) has commence the recruitment process for teachers (primary school) into the public schools, the recruitment process is to employment 7,000 teachers across the state.

The Oyo State government, on Tuesday, opened a portal for the recruitment of 7,000 teachers for the state’s public primary schools.

The Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran, told newsmen that the job portal was scheduled to come alive at 6 pm on Tuesday.

Adeniran said the recruitment was part of the state government’s bid to reduce unemployment among its citizenry.

The portal, according to Adeniran, would register each candidate with his/her email, phone number and National Identification Number, among other requirements, with a view to providing them with jobs suitable for them, either as teachers or caregivers.

Requirements into Oyo SUBEB Job Recruitment 2024

To be eligible for the Oyo State Universal Basic Job, Applicant must be able to present the following;

 Education Board (SUBEB) Recruitment in 2024, candidates are required to meet the following set of requirements and qualifications:

1. Possession of a National Certificate of Education (NCE) from any accredited tertiary institution is mandatory.
2. Applicants must have obtained an O’ level certificate with not less than five credit passes in core subjects, including Mathematics and English language.
3. Possession of the Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification would be considered an added advantage.
4. Candidates must be medically fit to be eligible for the recruitment.
5. Applicants should be between the ages of 22 to 35 years old to qualify for the Oyo SUBEB Recruitment.
